I call it &#8220;Radio 99%&#8221; (Broadcasting at 99.0 FM). Went through various tutorials and ended up following\u00a0Md. Khairul Alams &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hackster.io\/taifur\/raspberry-pi-based-wireless-fm-microphone-9f2eeb\">Raspberry Pi Based Wireless FM Microphone<\/a>&#8221; which enables me to hook a 3,5mm jack to the RasPi (Through a cheap\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.logilink.org\/showproduct\/UA0078.htm?seticlanguage=ne\">LogiLink<\/a>\u00a0sound card dongle). &#8220;Radio 99%&#8221; runs\u00a0a full\u00a0version of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.org\/downloads\/\">Raspbian<\/a>\u00a0which loads\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.icrobotics.co.uk\/wiki\/index.php\/Turning_the_Raspberry_Pi_Into_an_FM_Transmitter\">PiFM<\/a>\u00a0on boot. I\u00a0placed RasPi, battery, antenna and the sound card in a small portable box. It fits a backpack easily. I now have\u00a0an\u00a0intrusive FM-PA sound system! It can reach ~20m easily without any interference and works ok in a four room flat.<\/p>\n<p>Wonder how difficult\u00a0it would be to broadcast on all FM frequencies at once? To\u00a0change the broadcast\u00a0frequency\u00a0I have to connect to\u00a0RasPi using SSH, change the startup script and reboot the device. This\u00a0is not a convenient way to work with it. On an other SD card I installed\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/makezine.com\/projects\/raspberry-pirate-radio\/\">Raspberry Pirate Radio<\/a>\u00a0offered by Makezine,\u00a0which is tied to a custom <a href=\"http:\/\/cdn.makezine.com\/make\/pifm\/PiRadio.zip\">Raspbian distro<\/a>. It works too and works as a jukebox.<\/p>\n<p>Wonder if people in the middle ages told stories about the stone age?
