We presented the Oodi modular project with Viktor Toikkanen for Sunnuntai Siskot (Basso Radio). The talk starts at around 58min and is available on the Basso Radio on demand player (we were on air for 20 minutes). We are featured on their Facebook feed too. The talk will be replayed on air next week too. Played my Bastl Kastl live!

The Prague Synth Library “strives for inclusiveness, and its class fees and membership costs are offered on a sliding scale (nobody is turned away)”. They are hosting an interesting event in Portland “A brief history of music from behind the Iron Curtain …” which would be fun to visit.
Fixed our Eva Charming sewing machine and fix-tuned my sweater using an old dress shirt.

Conceptual synthesisers are emerging! Ewa Justka’s (Optotronics) Oi, Kant! is a drum/bass machine packed with features. It boasts four independent sequencers (named: Stupid Cunt, Cantinflas and Cantaloupe & Canterbury), a drum voice (Can’t Touch This), bass operator (Cantor’s Set), Enlightenment Symbal (Canteen) and a resonance filter based on the Ms-20 (Tadeusz Kantor). The instrument is open source and schematics are available online. The circuit board layout file is named kant_destroyer-Cu.png

Successfully traded my Novation Circuit to a Arturia Drumbrute. Working towards new sonic realms. Particularly interested to experiment with polyrhythms and randomness. The sounds are nice too and I hope I can get them to work with my other gear.
Documentation of the Techno music school for NPTurku is online.
