How do I know my life is not a simulation? As suggested by Nick Boström in Are You Living in a Computer Simulation? I have the answer: We are not in a simulation. Why would anyone simulate boredom? We are much more likely in an artwork, because simulating boredom would serve as a nifty artistic statement (in a semi-popular gallery at Neu-Stockholm AD. 102017).
